VIDEO: The fluoride problem in the region of the Rift Valley

Workshop organized by the WP2, related to Developing mitigation options for fluoride contamination in agriculture and livestock systems (WP2 - UNISS).

The WP2 aims to provide scientific evidences on benefits and constraints of a selection of existing and innovative mitigation strategies for fluoride contamination of water (for irrigation and drinking for animals) and cultivated soils in cropping and livestock systems of case study areas of Tanzania and Kenya.

During a field visit, M. Revocatus Machunda from the Nelson Mandela Institute, explains the fluoride problem in the region.
